Meet Aurenne

I have served as a mediator and arbitrator on over 500 cases involving complex commercial litigation, real estate and real property disputes, entertainment disputes, employment matters, personal injury claims, warranty breaches, and insurance coverage issues. But, what truly sets my mediation practice apart is my approach that combines an evaluative style with an authentic ability to connect with decision-makers at every level. Early on, I found myself navigating diverse perspectives through my exposure to international business operations. Today, this balance has earned the trust of defense firms, plaintiffs’ counsel, and institutional clients seeking decisive resolution to challenging disputes.

I completed law school and earned my first Master of Laws (LLM) in the United Kingdom. It was inevitable that I craved an education where the United States’ legal system originated. After being at the forefront of litigated cases in front of juries, managing complex business litigation, and exploring the United Kingdom’s commercial litigation environments, I realized that mediation is what truly aligned with my natural abilities and attitude toward disputes.

The collaborative nature of dispute resolution perfectly aligned with my strategic problem-solving approach and my belief that conflicts often unveil opportunities for mutual benefit. I deepened this dedication and honed my alternative dispute resolution expertise by pursuing an LLM in Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine’s Straus Institute, with a concentration in mediation.

Alongside my private practice, I serve as a mediator on Superior Court panels throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, and Santa Barbara, and on various national and international private panels as a mediator and arbitrator. As a resource for other mediators, I provide advanced mediation training and coaching globally, alongside chairing a Professional Development Group for the Southern California Mediation Association.

As both a licensed attorney and a real estate and business professional, I bring comprehensive expertise to each mediation that extends “beyond the line” of mere legal settlements. As I maintain a sharp focus on the numbers that drive settlements, my worldly perspective enables me to navigate parties through litigation complexities and transactional intricacies – a vital advantage in today’s interconnected business environment. Lasting resolutions emerge when I am able to bring my legal expertise and individualized attention to participants’ matters so that they feel genuinely understood.

All I need to do then is set up the table to break positional bargaining into meaningful dialogue.
